Welcome to the BHS Counseling Department!
High school is exciting, challenging and marks an incredible period of growth for students and families. The Counseling Office at Bedford High School is staffed with caring professionals to help ensure that your high school years are as successful as possible. Our office consists of five School Counselors and two Adjustment Counselors to help you make the most of your high school experience. Our comprehensive and individualized approach encompasses personal/social, career/college and academic counseling. Information For New Families
We encourage you to look at our Program of Studies and peruse the school website to find general information about the school, such as courses and sequences, clubs, and athletics. If you have specific questions after reviewing the material listed on our website, please contact Christina Duran and she will be able to put you in touch with a counselor via email or phone. MassSupport Network provides community outreach and support services to residents of all ages in response to the unprecedented public health crisis, COVID-19. Their anonymous, confidential, and free program is for individuals (including youth), families, schools, organizations, businesses and communities. They provide emotional support, coping strategies, resources, and up-to-date, factual information. This Crisis Counseling Program is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and managed in partnership between the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and Riverside Trauma Center, a program of Riverside Community Care.
